Whether you’re an out-of-state visitor, a beginning birder looking to expand your interest, or an experienced veteran seeking new places to explore, we know you’ll find something useful here.
As you explore BirdingVirginia.org, you will notice that much of the site is still a work in progress. We hope you will check back frequently for new and updated information. Much of the content you see here is sourced directly from birders across the state. We can't do this alone, so we need your help. If you would like to contribute information on a hotspot or county, contact our team and your contribution may end up on the site. If you see that your favorite birding haunts aren't covered here, please contact us using the “Send Us An Email” form found at the bottom of each page, and submit a description of any and all of your favorite spots.
